Caloundra Learning Co-op

The Learning Cooperative offers the community an opportunity to participate in a series of short courses on a wide variety of subjects, and allows Sunshine Coast Libraries to contribute in a very special way to the ongoing education of the community.

The aim of the Co-op is to offer the potential, through a learning environment, for the enjoyment, self-improvement and camaraderie for all community members at a minimal cost.

Conceptualized in November 1991 and supported by the Sunshine Coast Council it operates from the Bribie Room located next to the Caloundra Library. The Co-op conducts four terms per year and the curriculum is decided by the voluntary class leaders who generously donate their services. Courses are continually under review in order to respond to the needs of the community.
